In a time when Muslims in America are constantly in the news for all the wrong reasons, I wanted to create a play to show that the Muslim-American community is not a monolith in thought or practice.
A play about Muslim-American women represents the United States at an international level.
Dirty Paki Lingerie is the first American play to represent the United States at the International Theater Festival of Turkmenistan in 2014 co-sponsored by the US Embassy Turkmenistan and Ministry of Culture Turkmenistan.
